Do You Like The New Header?

The community tab is all that I have noticed different but I am sure that there is more to it than that. I do like the community tab with my personal tabs better though since I use it so much. :)

Phyllis, yes. When I was shown this yesterday I noticed more in the shopping area than before. I didn't realise we had half the stuff we do lol. Our personal dropdown is fabulous

I’m on an iPad....I guess no changes.

I couldn't see any difference on Pixels so I logged into FAA and that is where I could see the changes you are talking about.

I noticed this just awhile ago when I wanted to go to this discussion area! I do like the new layout in the personal drop down.

The Facebook link on the Find Your Friends did not work for me though.

I see the community tab in a different spot, which seems fine, but I don't see recent sales under the community tab (or anywhere) any more. I also don't see how to get to customer reviews.

the changes are for mobile devices too so take a look at the menus, they have changed, if you are on a mobile.

For PC users you can see a vast improvement along the menu. It has got rid of clutter and is now streamilined for the customer. For us in the community, our area is clearly defined on the right now

i noticed when i logged in... cleaner looking i think... seems more customer friendly... works for me...

Still nothing new for my iPhone.

Yes, the heading looks cleaner, but I still don't see where to find recent sales (which I used to find under the community tab), or customer reviews (which I used to find under an about tab).

Threw me off. I thought my login failed. This is better for customers.

So all the products are listed on FAA in the header as well, but not in our shops? Confusing!

it confused me at first, my muscle memory had me going to the top center for the forums. i think its also confusing to list tshirts up there, and not have them listed on FAA.

I panicked for a minute. I thought the discussions had disappeared LOL.

Well I do like the new look BUT under the media I see nothing for digital art. My media I have marked as digital art and digital painting by the look of it neither are searchable media.

where did the chat go? or was that removed?

Anyone else on an iPhone and sees no changes?

It's o.k., not more. The only thing I do not like is the shrunken font size in the personal dropdown. But that is a personal problem I have to fight with.
It seems to be modern to miniaturize things more and more.

I am obviously not very observant. I don’t understand what has changed apart from on Pixels under the help button it actually has a uk phone number which is a great improvement.

I don’t see a help button on FAA though.

Well even if i did somehow re-order the keywords in 500 images so this made sense, they'd just xhange it again the next week.

How i wish i could just make this whole "More By" thing go away and just have a nice link to the gallery containing the photo.

I love the new header.

re change to which thumbnails are displayed under any given image - I love that! For example, if I click on one of my bison images, the thumbs below show some of my other bison shots. If I click on one of my petroglyph photos, the thumbs below show more of my petroglyphs. Makes more sense to show related images than just the same old 5 images over and over regardless of subject. Way cool!

Has anyone else noticed the "Recently Viewed" under comments? Did I miss that in the discussion?

I went to one of Abbie's images from FB this morning and there under her image's comment section were two images that I had viewed this morning (one of which was NOT Abbie's).

Like Amazon/Target/Walmart, etc.???

We have a problem. Those thumbnails under our images: Two of the ones showing under my images are in a password protected gallery. They are NOT supposed to be showing to the public.

Kathy. Have you put keywords into those images?

Kathy, I'd assumed they pulled related images by keyword or description. Could be wrong. Do your password-protected images have either?

Isabella, Not showing up on my iPad, even after clearing out all history and data and then rebooting.

No keywords and no descriptions on those images. I told the people in those photos that they would not be made public. :(

How long has it been here?

I have been on a sales roll the last two weeks so if it coincides with that I LOVE it. If not, I have no feelings one way or the other. My rolling two month average is up a grand over last year so something is working well.

Remember that the site knows it's you. Have you tried to replicate the view while logged out? The view might not (usually doesn't) include the password protected images.

I have had this issue where I thought the images were showing, but when I looked as a nonmember the images were whited out.

So if it's not picking up on keywords or descriptions, does that mean it's able to "see" and select like subjects?

I looked when logged out before commenting here. I see them when logged out as well.

And others that show have NO relation (keyword/description) to the main image. Totally random.

I noticed the personal tab this morning and I do like it. Seems to save a click or two. On my tablet it was hard to use the old one as I often had to enlarge it for it to register my touch selection. I think this one might work better.

Also, no change on Pixels, only FineArtAmerica???

The FAA header looks less cluttered but I wish "Discover" was not there. There is already a heading "Collections" to click on. I Think it should be "Help" like on Pixels and that should have a phone number.

I do like the "more from....." line of thumbnails under each image which are very relevant to each one. They have obviously been picked as they are the best sellers.

I just wish there was a way to feature a few images from other galleries so I could showcase something different or something new.

Because I sell more car images than anything else I now have no way to showcase anything else when someone looks at one of my car images.

So where do we go now to see "Recent Sales"... I always like seeing that every day.....

the new? list all businesses are neat, but i wonder how one gets on it.

the old - artists near me - still doesn't list people near me.

i'm not sure why activity is listed so many times. its on the main bar, its a column header and clickable, and its just under that title also clickable.
