Photography has always been a part of my life, ever since I was six years old, when I was encouraged by my father to take some pictures after he handed me a small Kodak 110. As I grew older, I was assigned to take pictures of the family gatherings when I wasn't out and about shooting on my own. There was a period of time when I didn't own a camera. During those years, I honed my eye as best I could using 3D rendering programs, I was still creating images.
It wasn't until the birth of my third daughter when I purchased a DSLR, and took pictures of everything I could. Not long after that, I was invited to be a second photographer for a friend of mine who was shooting a wedding. We partnered up several times in the following years, honing our skills.
In August of 2011, I decided to strike out on my own, and left my day job, and I have not looked back since. Photography is in my bones, it is my passion, and it is also great therapy for me. Getting out into nature, with just a camera is very rewarding for me.
