I love creating urban landscapes with mid-century signage, cityscapes, botanical subjects, landscapes, figuratives and occasionally abstract work.   Mediums include drawing media charcoal, pencil, and conte, traditional transparent watercolor on paper, acrylic on canvas, and mixed media & paper collage.I received my MFA in watercolor painting from Eastern Michigan University.   I have a number of awards for my paintings, most recently, the 76th Michigan Water Color Society Exhibition MWCS Members Award, and also am selected as a Finalist to published in Artist Magazine's September special issue...more
