I recently heard someone say it's fine to be an amateur because you do what you do because of the love of doing it. Thats me, i'm an amateur photographer, i take pictures for the love of taking pictures. If by chance i sell one, i will absolutely do a happy dance! I love black and white photos, the shadowing that brings out the intensity, the simplicity of it. I live in beautiful Southern Oregon where we are 30 minute from lakes and wilderness, 45 minutes from a ski resort and 90 minutes from the most rugged and stunning coastline.
