Signing Prints

This may sound like a silly question, but do we sign our prints when showing on our gallery of paintings.

I put a digital signature in the corner of all my work. It's my actual signature that I scanned.

I sometimes get requests for hand signed prints from clients, so I also have unsigned versions available that I will ship to my home first, sign, and then ship out to the client.

What you don't want to do is put a big copyright or line of text on your images digitally. I also think that typed signatures look amateurish. Either create a signature with a nice script font and add it in Photoshop, or just sign lovely paintings and make sure the signature is included in the scan.

I think the scripts in Photoshop may have improved, some of them. I use Brush Script Std. My results are linked.
