This is my new collection.........The Lily................just to be organized, b/c I default to Images for visitors, but,
I finally got the right 'last' Lily photo to tell the story of the blooms I adored for the very first time .. in years!
The final ....... In Extremis........is a major portrait of LILY expiring......very dark, brooding, noir. and with
that, I thought, time to tell the story in a collection.

Nice idea, Hans

Love Castles in Germany; especially along the Rhine.

Now that I have the Alphabetical Collections, moving forward I'm going to have keyword galleries which are much more fluid.

ie: http://pics.travelnotes.org/art/switzerland

I can then have

/art/Castles+in+Germany
/art/Castles+in+France
/art/Castles+in+Europe

Without having to actually create any more galleries/collections.

Just link to the 'keyword galleries'.

Thank you so much! :o) Hope you found a personal favorite! I like both river Rhine and river Mosel. Germany has so many wonderful and historic places - so much to discover.

Not exactly a new collection but a resurrected one because I've started to add watercolor to some of them.

Just opened my new collection "Black and white" for all those who´d like to see my b/w works without searching through the entire site.

My newest collection is also black and white images, but with a warm toasty railroady flavor. Curse you spellcheck, I am sure that 'railroady' is a word!!!

Hans,

Some eleven out of these twenty images were just redone very differently. I will be registering the images in the next couple of days. The collection was first created in 2015.

As new Images Rustic 2,5,9,11,1213,16,17,18,19, & 20

https://david-bridburg.pixels.com/collections/rustic+collection

The biggest change, paint dies. I have embellished most of these images more as if fresh off the easel.

RADICAL SPIRAL

If a SPIRAL is a curve on a plane that winds around a fixed centre point at a continuously increasing distance from the point; a RADICAL SPIRAL is a spiral made by drawing the curve using randomly coloured, randomly sized, randomly jittered ellipses, and then repeating the process a random number of times.

Nine outcomes randomly chosen from a series of 500.

13500px square for printing any size.

I decided that my focus was too narrow, being only narrow gauge Colorado railroads.. I decided to learn what I could about another 3 foot narrow gauge railroad, which is the East Broad Top Railroad and Coal Company, from Pennsylvania. I tend to make everything black and white when it comes to steam engines. I just think they look better that way.

I created this gallery of Florida Wild Flowers because I was asked to. I have a whole bunch of wild flowers - but I also have a group of folks that are only interested in Florida wild flowers and particularly native ones:

Original series inspired by memories of my 1996 journey to Churchill, on Hudson Bay, Manitoba,Canada.

I was invited as a participating artist in the 'Prairie Visions' group exhibition, sponsored by the Manitoba Arts Council

700 miles (1,100 kms) north of my home in Manitoba, the town of Churchill, the "Polar Bear Capital of the World" --
famous for the polar bears that come inland in the fall -- is only accessible by train or airplane.

Beluga whale watching, and myriad species of migratory birds are also Churchill attractions.

The breathtaking displays of the Northern Lights,or Aurora Borealis, are seared in my memory.

Experiencing the pristine beauty of Churchill was a dream come true.
