Very Basic Easy To Use Video Editor

I am in need of a very basic video editor, something incredibly simple and easy to use. My main need right now is to be able to convert videos I took today to a lower resolution, right now a 30 sec video is 150mb, too much for uploading to SM. Other than that the most I'd need to do is make cuts and simple transitions.

Any suggestions?

Windows comes with one, but I do not remember the exact name of it.

My thread on making videos the Windows software was mentioned and praised many times over.

Windows movie maker David K. , I've tried a bunch and this is the easiest and the one I use, it really has all you need to do some pretty impressive videos.

I'll have to download and install WMM then. For now I'm just uploading the full res files to FB, it takes for freakin' ever though! (I just have basic internet).

Is WMM still free on 10?

I used WMM for a while and moved onto Sony Vegas when I wanted to get past some of WMM's limitations. WMM is much easier to use and understand though.

Photoshop CC has a basic video editor. That's what I use most of the time. You can add layers like watermarks.

I use Windows Movie Maker too but I have Windows 8 on my PC. I seem to remember reading that it isn't included with Windows 10, like Abbie mentioned.

It's not included with W10 but you can download it for free for W10.

Yep movie make is not bad. I haven't used any other than the ones generated from my animation software and some very old image splicing software.

Windows Moviemaker is what I use. Splicing of image and sound, Film or slideshow, works fine. Some limitations but works for me
