I'm a former oil painter from the age of 10, who got weary of waiting for my oil layers to dry.   I had always disliked watercolor very much because I simply didn't understand it, until I met a wonderful watercolorist here in NM, who became my friend and mentor.   That was 14 years ago, and now I'm busy TEACHING watercolor to eager adult students at the wonderful New Mexico Art League.   I've been on faculty there for 5 years now, and LOVE MY JOB!   In addition, I have been teaching my very artistic grandchildren for many years and several of them have been repeat award-winners in...more
