My name is Philip O Byrne.   I am a self taught artist working from my studio in Cork In Ireland.   I paint mostly in acrylics and my paintings depict the atmosphere and mood of the Irish coastline.   Having sailed these waters through the years I transfer much of my experiences onto canvas.   Many of my paintings are views as seen from the sea just as a sailor or or fisherman might view our shores.   I endeavour to to depict the mood and atmosphere of our shoreline rather than intricate detail.   If you have any queries please feel free to contact...more
