In 2015 I was stricken with multiple life threatening illnesses, almost losing my life on three separate occasions.   In order to deal with these ongoing issues, I took up computer graphics and started to create art again.   The images portray strong women, being raised by a single mother with a sixth grade education, I see strength in women and want to portray that in my work.   Born and raised in California, i now live on the outskirts of Los Angeles.   My health has forced me into early retirement, so I enjoy doing this and writing.   At www.mjruffino.com you will...more
