The Coastal Areas of the Gulf of Mexico

I recently moved away from the Gulf coast where I lived in Navarre, Florida, but it remains one of my favorite places. I've lived near the beach in many locations but there isn't much that can compare to the pristine waters and white beaches surrounding the Gulf of Mexico. I originally started the group and limited it to just the Northwest Florida Panhandle but soon realized that I had cut off many from joining that also lived and enjoyed the beaches and waters of the other parts of the Gulf. As a result, I've renamed the group and opened it anyone that lives at or just visits the areas around the Gulf.

The group is open to any artwork that promotes the Gulf coastal areas. Items submitted can be photography, paintings or drawings but please keep it all within good taste for a family oriented group (no nudity, political or religious agenda's).

We live on the coast but there are many other attractions to these areas and I look forward to learning more about it all. I'm limiting the daily submissions to just 1 a day simply because higher numbers get to be too much to handle. There are discussion pages and I hope the members will take advantage of them to share information on ideas, techniques, locations and events in the area.

You must be a member of the group to participate and to submit images. You do not have to live on the Gulf coast to become a member of the group but any images submitted must be from the coastal areas around the Gulf of Mexico and designated as such in the title or the description.
