Welcome to this exclusive FAA group dedicated to sharing traditional hand-painted artwork. Before joining this group, please review the requirements. To be accepted, you must start by displaying a profile pic or avatar to identify you as an artist and not a company. A minimum of intermediate skill in creating hand-painted images is expected; preferably with a signature to add authenticity. The subject matter is family-friendly, and all images submitted are curated in review for acceptance based on the detailed parameters outlined below. From this collaboration, some are carefully chosen as a GROUP FEATURE on our Homepage, which is a special gallery giving artists a distinctive honor that gains prominence through the inclusion of a group Admin's comment, which serves to enhance its visibility and significance with an acknowledgment in the COMMENTS section of the artist's image page. This achievement adds to recognition and desirability by art collectors.

Guidelines: Keep in mind that art styles with various types of media mixed show up nearly everywhere now. This community is one hiatus for traditional artists to showcase artwork created with handheld tools featuring wet media on flat surfaces, generally requiring drying time and no use of computers or artificial intelligence. An artist's signature or initials can assist art collectors in differentiating between artworks created by humans and those generated using new technologies. Members will receive email for new contest invitations to participate, but this is not required. Group sponsored art contests showcase themes of similar artwork. Competitions are only for lighthearted pleasure (fun without prizes) and exposure, though rules will apply.

Refrain from submitting textile patterns, photographs, black and white, and artwork created or altered using digital, computerized, or any artificial technology. No borders, please. While agreeably beautiful, these creations are not suitable for THIS group. Artists are encouraged to ARCHIVE their feature by copying and pasting their Embed URL Code into the Discussion thread to archive their achievement. Notes of gratitude are also most appreciated. The group was established as a welcoming space for hand-crafted, traditional style paintings to gain more visibility and to motivate artists to sign their work for the credit they deserve. The HOMEPAGE is updated to feature the NEWEST image honors, which REPLACE OLDEST (only TOP 30 permitted by FAA group regulations). Expect Admin to remove overflow of Homepage images, although they still remain with all permanent images added to the group. Only mainstream, GENERAL PUBLIC VIEWER RATED art discretion is considered.
