This is a picturesque top floor window in Woodbury neighborhood in the City of Irvine, Orange County, CA. All homes within Woodbury feature elements of Romanesque Revival architecture. Many architectural details on house facades, windows, balconies and doors are borrowed from Cottage, Tuscan, French, Spanish and Formal Italian styles of architecture.
Taking a strall along the main drag and looking up will make you feel like you are in the old world. The stucco colors on houses' exteriors are usually in shades of beige but we are always craving some color so we decided to paint the wall bright yellow. And of course the blue sky is always there in sunny Southern California.
