Description
I painted this winter scene because I find the stark tracery of the bare branches of trees in winter so beautiful. It fascinates me that trees can wait, apparently dormant, withstanding the harsh, cold weather and then, at the first breath of spring, burst into abundant life again! This painting, with its old farm buildings, shows the beautiful Weald of Kent, England, as I remember it.
