Filey is a quaint little village in Yorkshire on the east coast not far from Whitby, unlike Whitby it is a quiet little place full of quaint little shops and cafes, the seafront is beautiful, I never really had time to see it in full view as I stopped off here to stretch my legs and grab a coffee on the journey home across the moors after staying in Scarborough, in the far distance you can see the North Sea and some of the Promenade, the road is called Cargate Hill, I love it in Monochrome shades of black and white as it adds more interest to a simple view, especially with its parallel lines, it was a fairly sunny day with soft shadows ideal for black and white photography
