I saw this little girl on a beach in Cornwall a few years ago. She was lost in her work, which I suspect was looking for molluscs in the sand. This is one of my most popular paintings.

Wonderful depiction of a child lost in her own world on the beach. Love your realism and how you captured this little girl so accurately. Great job on this.L ike/fav

I saw your work and I really enjoyed this one. It is so realistic it is like you can touch the ground in it and it really is wet mud. Thanks for the joy. from Suebethian

Richard, I like the subject and the style of your paintings. Reminds me of my own, which I describe as 'an impression of realism'. From across the room is looks almost photographic, but up close its clearly a painting with no effort to hide the brush strokes. Good work.

Lovely painting, Richard. I like the diagonal lines of the composition and that touch of green really adds a great compliment to the reds.
