Autographed photos of hundreds of famous artists who have performed at the Surf Ballroom embellish the walls. The ballroom opened in Clear Lake, Iowa in 1934, and was the last venue played by Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and the Big Bopper February 3, 1959.
