Description
Shot with a Nikon F-3 with a 500mm mirror lens. I had notice that when I used this lens many of the highlights in the background were made up of half moon shapes. I started to shoot images of pools of water and defocused until I achieved the look I wanted. It was like creating a custom texture screen. This is a string of christmas lights hanging from my deck. I shot 20 versions of these lights that night. You can do so much with one of these lenses, both in and out of focus.
