BODEGÓN CON CALABAZAS Y TOMATES
Still life with gourds and tomatoes. I found these dried gourds by the river below my house. I thought they made a good arrangement, placed on a rough shelf in my greenhouse, with some small, ceramic flower pots. I wanted a splash of colour in the painting so I picked some tomatoes to place in the composition.
Encontré estas calabazas secas junto al río debajo de mi casa. Pensé que habían hecho un buen arreglo, colocados en un estante áspero en mi invernadero, con unas pequeñas macetas de flores de cerámica. Quería un toque de color en la pintura, así que recogí algunos tomates para colocar en la composición.
