So many beautiful streets in London that spark our imaginations of what it might be like to live there. This I painted alongside my wonderful daughter in law, who visited London with my son last year. They loved it as did I when I visited a couple years ago. Such history, charm and friendly people there, how could you not want to live somewhere in London!
This is portobello Road with a tree added in from a park near Baker Street.

So so so beautiful!!!! When I was in London it was January so I missed this amazing light and the bright colors ... though we were lucky enough to have an amazing couple of spring-like days!! Your interpretation is magical ... yes, London is just breathtaking ... when I boarded the plane back from the UK and heard American accents again, I swear I teared up ... I felt like I was leaving home!!!!!!! I love the addition of the tree, Lori ... the lines really pull us right into the scene!!!!!! As always, magic!!!! l/f t p and fb
