Title
Shadowtwister Reflections
Artist
Paul Davenport
Medium
Drawing - Compressed Charcoal On Paper
Description
Another drawing in the Shadowtwister series, which is a development of my other drawings to explore the possibilities of completely bisecting the page into light and shade... the subject being left to form in the middle where they meet.
This drawing is slightly larger than I normally do, it was done with compressed charcoal on 50 x 70 cm Zeichenkarton 220g/m2 drawing paper.
A textured version can be seen here...

Thank you Jacquie! I am rather enjoying the basic process of making marks at the moment.... rather intrigued that my recent drawings are emerging very representational, as its not consciously done... and never used to be!
