Description
SEAGULL GAMES seemed an appropriate title for this image since the gulls appear to be playing ball with the bobbing buoy. In the foggy harbor of an East coast fishing village, the lazy old dories and rowboats, bobbing in the gentle waves of a sheltered cove are lit by the last of the evening sun.
In a digital manipulation program, I combined sections of some of my original watercolor paintings to create this new image. I added transparent swirls of waves and ripples to enhance the reflections of nearby docks and create the illusion of movement and foggy effects.
