Description
Fall colors highlight this Spokane park. The centerpiece to downtown, it was created for the 1974 worlds fair. Today it hosts several large events and is a popular area for locals and visitors to hang out. There are so many landmark attractions that help make up this great park from the iconic clock tower, the historic carousel to the beautiful Spokane falls that are lit up at night.

Stunning work. I was there in 1974 attention graduate school at Gonzaga. I often wondered what Spokane is like today. I looked at your website and this work of Riverfront Park is only one of many you have created--beautiful images that all who read this should give his website a look.
Mark Kiver replied:
Thanks Joe. I think you would really be surprised at what Downtown and Riverfront park look like now. in the late 80's into the 90's the whole area went down (decay, stuff falling apart, etc). They started a revitalization project and completely re did Riverpark Square. All new shopping with new stores and restaurants coming in. They have closed one street down completely and it us just for pedestrian use. They have a local trolley for transportation in the downtown and carriage rides in the winter. They just opened a new beautiful park by the falls and under the gondola. Everything is giving Spokane new and much needed character.
