Red-Tailed Hawk Preparing to Fly
The red tailed hawk perches on a fence post in the middle of public lands scouting for his prey. He's there for a few minutes, than takes off. Talking a walk through the scrub land I saw that there were quite a few hares out there, as well as smaller rodents.
