Title
North Beach At Indian River Inlet
Artist
Bill Swartwout
Medium
Photograph - Fine Art Photography
Description
The beach north of the Indian River Inlet is deserted on a dark and stormy day, which is something seldom seen. The Delaware Seashore State Park attracts hundreds of thousands of vacationers a year and they come to enjoy the Atlantic Ocean, the beach and the Indian River Bridge all year 'round. Swimming might be out during the cold season but there are other activities to enjoy along the Delaware coast.
This photo, captured by Bill Swartwout Photography, shows the beach just to the north of the north jetty (in the foreground). The north stanchions of the George W. Cullen Bridge, (Indian River Inlet Bridge) are on the left, carrying traffic along US Route 1 north and south over the inlet.
