Description
A beautiful lily blooms on the lake as I visit family on Lake McMurray, a very clean small lake in Skagit county, Washington state. The lake has little pockets of lily pads and flowers near the water’s edge and they are so beautiful, unfortunately these are considered invasive and we were notified that they were to be sprayed the following day.
How lovely to see this lone bud bloom and bless us with its beauty, if only for this special moment in time.
Mostly palette knife work to express the fleeting moment...

I recommend for giclee canvas prints that you do not wish to frame, the gallery wrap canvas in matte finish with either mirrored edges or black edges, your choice. This canvas has a deeper profile 1.5” which is great for hanging without a frame.
I recommend for giclee canvas prints that you would like to have framed, the museum wrap canvas in matte finish. This canvas has a narrower profile of 5/8 “ which will have many more framing options. The matte finish is best for a more realistic appearance to the original oil painting and reveals more of the subtleties in the darker areas of the artwork.
