Labradoodles are a recent mixed breed first developed in Australia. They mixed a poodle and a labrador retriever in hopes of getting an intelligent therapy dog that did not shed to help people with allergies. By the third generation, they succeeded. Now you can find labradoodles on most continents helping the blind and many others who are disabled in different ways, as well as great canine pets for families.
