Title
Hooked By The Worm
Artist
Genevieve Esson
Medium
Painting - Watercolor Crayon And Graphite On Watercolor Paper
Description
Where is the promised land? Where is the brave new world? Hooked by the worm hole. This drawing and watercolor painting tells a story. Look at it real closely. I am sure you will read into it what you want from your own experiences through life. That is a given. The human bird that you see is connected to humanity and nature. Birds are related to dinosaurs and probably evolution to the point where they had the ability to fly to where it was safe when Earth was hit by asteroids. Here we are now, intelligent human beings with the biggest brains on the brink of change. Time is limited and we need to make the next step in the right direction. God has given us so much, and it is up to us this time. Love each other, use renewable energies, be resourceful with what we have. Reduce, reuse and recycle. Lets use technology and our resources to the best of our abilities. We have the technology, we can do this. Let all humanity come together and unite. It is the only way. Otherwise we will become extinct. We need to evolve and take it to the next level. That is the only way we will survive. Peace, Love & Light. ~Genevieve

A most imaginative, intricate and fabulous multi media painting. Indeed, as Heather says, we are like Icarus sailing much to close to our doom - if we do not take care as you advice in your description. :-)

Hi Genevieve, I thought I would pay you a little visit and found this eye-catching painting and a very thought provoking write-up. It makes me think of Icarus flying too close to the sun. Well done!
