I have lived in this area for years, but I had only attended this festival once - a decade ago. It was very crowded and it was impossible to park, so I never went back. Year after year, I saw so many wonderful photographs, I decided to go back. Unfortunately, it wasn't a great weekend for hot-air balloons. The morning I was there, only six took off. It was still a beautiful morning. Thank you to my friend Kathy who allowed me to pull her out of bed at an ungodly hour.
