Antelope Canyon is truly a magical place. In fact, it is definitely one of my most memorable in the world and somewhere I hope to visit often.
I only had limited time to capture this image as there were many forces working against me. The cloud coverage was increasing outside causing the sun's rays to be blocked intermittently, crowds were growing behind me, the dust in the air was challenging my equipment and people were unknowingly walking into my shot.
After many requests to catch up by my guide I remained resilient until all of the elements fell into place and snapped this ripper of a shot.
-- Technique --
This version of Antelope Canyon was captured with more than 20 individual images that have been meticulously hand stitched together using a special technique I developed during my commercial photography days. This method creates a much wider angle of view than a traditional camera allowing the whole scene to flourish.
