George Street, one of the main streets through Glasgow leading up to and through George Square, here is the point where John Street goes across this street and under the arches to the left, It's a quiet afternoon after a lot of things happening in Glasgow including that awful fire at a night club about a mile away, I could see the smoke and helicopters flying over. The traffic was very busy earlier as they closed a few roads due to the fire causing a gridlock with the buses to the right at the other end of George Square, it was absolute chaos, the day was overcast but quite pleasant and after exploring the Square and a few shops I went to Costa for a coffee that was just a bit further up the road to the right opposite Queens Street Station were there was a lot of building work going on due to a regeneration of the station and shops around it, the station was still open for travellars but was very inconvenient for them with the dust, noise and debri, I did walk through there as it's a shortcut to the shopping precinct it was abs chaos and I was glad to get out of there and came back a different way. I noticed some taxis were pink, as one in picture further along the road, they certainly looked unique and Glasgows colours seem to be purple and pink as the banners show this with the words Poeple make Glasgow, I've honoured this with my chosen background colour, it was a different world here than cities in England so glad I paid a visit, but please Glasgow get rid of all that building work as there is far too much of it all around the city as well as the station, before I went to this part of Glasgow I visited the transport museum, near the Clyde, now that was interesting
