This was taken one warm September morning at the Bicentennial Park and the Scioto Mile in downtown Columbus, Ohio. Most of the time, this area was filled with laughing children running through the splashes of water in quick bare feet, but every hour a whistle sounded and it was time to rest! The water even seemed to breathe a sigh of relief from all of the hectic excitement and energy. I worked as quickly as I could while the opportunity of enjoying the lines and patterns of steel columns, wet concrete covered in puddles and the texture of the non-slip safety grid wound through my view. After just this brief sigh of simple sounds of falling water, chaos crashed in again and the scene was again saturated
with joy!
