A horse done in the Chinese (Tang Dynasty) statuary style then filled in with carefully chosen zentangle-style patterns. My name is hidden inside the pattern. See if you can find it.
That basket weave pattern was a challenge to do and the spiral patterns appear to move if you focus on them.
The original has sold, but prints are still available.
This is one of my Chinese horse series. See the other Zen horses in my Drawings gallery or my Horses and Cowboys gallery. There are more to come. When I started the series, I didn't intend on doing a series. I was just playing around, but I discovered that I liked the look and that a series of Tang Dynasty horses would be fun to do.
Once I get enough done, I have plans to make a Zentangle book of them.
