"Carnaval de Rio de Janeiro"
A surrealist self-portrait of the artist in a butterfly mask celebrating Rio's annual carnival that coincides with our Mardi Gras. I used primarily eggplant purple, lavender, salmon pink and aqua blue on a black background in the color palette for my photo painting. Very "Eyes Wide Shut" don't you think?
