Also in 2009, Vintage Wings of Canada honoured Stocky by a special flight in their own P-40 Kittyhawk which is painted with the same markings (BHS) of the Kittyhawk he flew in the North African campaign. Stocky was also allowed to take the controls himself of this aircraft. This memorable flight was photographed by the renowned Canadian aviation photographer, Eric Dumigan.
