Smoky skies that cover most of the Pacific Northwest have created amazing moon images lately. In this image, the full moon appears to be a hue of orange-red, and is highlighted behind the silhouette of forest trees near Nelson, BC, in the foreground. This creates an errie, surreal and almost spooky sense.
