Barn In Bliss Township,
Had the chance to visit my old stomping grounds lately. Northern Michigan is a mix of small towns, expansive beaches, wooded countryside, and many old farms.
Some of the towns are mere blips on a map with a general store, gas station and a post office with many miles between the next one.
This little barn was found between Cross Village and the small town of Levering.
The rolling hills and the greenness of everything brings such a contrast to my permanent home here in Northern California.
When visiting it is very easy for me to quickly become adjusted to the rural life. Emmett County sits at the most Northern edge of Michigan's Southern Peninsula. There are less people in all of Emmett County than there is in a 5 minute ride through the town I currently reside.
