Description
The brackish and mostly shallow Indian River, running alongside Titusville, Florida, is dotted by numerous sandy islands created when the US Army Corps of Engineers dredged the Intracoastal Waterway. This strip of sand is one of those. Nature has long claimed them and many now have trees, foliage and birds residing on them, each following its own cycle of life.
