I am so thankful for everyday that I can draw paint and create. Why, you may ask? From the age of six I enjoyed making things in modeling clay and later my mother gave me a set of oil paints. I was delighted with my freedom to just create. I was an only child. When I could not find someone to play with. I created things with my own hands, like clay men and forts using tooth picks as spears. I started drawing and painting at thirteen. I signed up for lessons from a watercolor artist, and any other lessons I could find. I enrolled in a commercial art school. It was located in Denver Colorado. I began after high school for two years learning to draw people, and products for ads in the local retail stores. The ways of creating ads changed. I have been pursuing fine art every since the computers took over. I enjoy painting scenes much more than creating ads. Everyday is a joy filled with discovery. I thank, God, for my time as an artist.
